Global Medical Education

Central Asian Medical University (CAMU), established in 2021, is a private medical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, founded with the aim of delivering modern, internationally aligned medical education. It offers a 6-year MBBS (MD) program in English designed for international students, particularly from India, Pakistan, and other South Asian countries. Though relatively new, CAMU emphasizes digital learning, simulation-based training, and partnerships with clinical centers in Tashkent to provide hands-on experience. The university operates under the regulatory oversight of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan and is actively working toward global recognition. Its urban campus, affordable fees, and English-medium instruction make it an emerging option for students seeking accessible medical education in Central Asia.
